Play Therapy

Many people, especially children, often find it very difficult to express their feelings and problems with words.  Play Therapy is a form of counselling or psychotherapy that uses play to communicate with and help children to prevent or resolve psychosocial challenges. Play is the natural language of communication for a child. This is thought to help them towards better social integration, growth and development.

Play Therapy is a client-centered and non-judgmental approach, which moves at the speed of the client.

A safe, confidential and caring environment is created which allows the client to play with as few limits as possible but as many as necessary (for safety). This allows healing to occur on many levels following our natural inner trend towards health and enhance emotional literacy.
