About me

Originally, I trained in Switzerland but relocated to London in 2006, where I am practicing ever since.

My training includes an MA in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (Terapia/Middlesex University London) and a BA Dip in Psychomotor Therapy ASTP/EDK, with a focus on Play Therapy and Body Work for children and young adults (University of Basel in Switzerland). Additionally, in the UK, I have been trained as PTUK Certified Sandplay Practitioner for both, children and adults, as well as Clinical Supervisor PTUK.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

I have many years of experience working with my clients not only through talking therapy but also through body awareness and symbolism (Carl Jung) with both adults and children.

My interest in working therapeutically grew through my first career as a primary school teacher, after which I retrained as a counsellor/therapist. For the next few years, I followed this up with 3 years of full-time studies in Basel in psychology, child psychology, and special educational needs. This included extensive therapeutic training to equip me with the necessary skills to support children and young adults with emotional and behavioural problems. Recently, I graduated as Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, after deciding to gain further depths in my clinical practice.

My training:

  • MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
  • BA Dip Psycho Motor Function Therapy
  • Certified Sandplay Practitioner
  • Clinical Supervisor
  • Dip Ed Primary Teaching Certificate
